Our story

We started in October 2017 with one idea: use basketball to bring people together and give kids somewhere good to be.

Crunchtime began as a league. Grown men, real competition, a DJ and a host in the building, and the whole neighbourhood in the bleachers on a Saturday.

The kids were always there — watching from the sideline, shooting at the side hoop between games, asking when they got a turn. So we gave them one.

Today the youth program is the centre of what we do. Our job is to help young athletes become great leaders of the future, through the game. That means teaching the game properly, holding a standard for how we carry ourselves, and trying to win while we do it.

We do things the right way, we get better, and we compete. All three, or none of it counts.
