Privacy policy

Most of the people who contact us are parents telling us about their kids. Here is exactly what we do with that.

Last updated August 2026

The short version

We collect what a parent chooses to send us through our contact form, we use it to answer them and to run our teams, and we don't sell it or share it with anyone outside the program. We publish a player's first name only.

What we collect

Our contact form asks for the parent or guardian's name, email address and phone number, along with the message they write.

If the inquiry is about joining a team, skills training or a camp, we also ask for the child's first and last name, date of birth, current grade, and their school or town. We ask because grade and age are how a player gets placed with the right group — not out of curiosity.

We do not ask for a Social Security number, financial information, or medical history through this website.

Children under 13

Nearly every athlete in our program is under 13. Our contact form is addressed to a parent or legal guardian, and it cannot be submitted without confirming that. We do not knowingly collect information directly from a child, and this website has no account sign-up, no comments, and no messaging.

Information about a child stays with the coaching staff and program administrators. It is never published on this site, never sold, and never given to advertisers.

On the public site we show first names only — never a surname alongside a date of birth, school or jersey number.

A parent or guardian may ask us at any time to see what we hold about their child, correct it, or delete it. Email crunchtimeleague@gmail.com or call (516) 473-8649 and we'll take care of it.

Photos and video

We photograph and film our teams at games, practices and events, and we share that on this site and on our social channels. We obtain written permission from a parent or guardian before publishing images of a child in our program.

If you have given permission and want to withdraw it, tell us and we'll remove the images from anything we control.

How we use it

  • To reply to your inquiry.
  • To place a player on the right team and let you know about tryouts, practices and games.
  • To keep records the program needs to operate — rosters, tournament registrations and the like.

We do not send marketing email to people who have only contacted us with a question.

Where it's stored

Form submissions are stored in Google Cloud (Firebase) and a copy is emailed to the program's inbox. Access is limited to the people who need it to run the program.

We keep a submission for as long as the family is involved with Crunchtime, and delete it on request.
